Helheim’s combat is designed to force the players to make tactical decisions and make use of mind games to defeat each other. It will feature multiple modes including duels, CTF, and a horde mode. We also hope to include online play in the final version.

Online Multiplayer Side Scrolling Brawler

Allowing up to four players to connect to a server and battle to be the last one standing, this game is a fairly traditional brawler. The main goal with this project was to see how far we could go with a tiny team trying to make an online brawler in four months. We were quite happy with the results!

Side Scrolling Brawler with Gesture Based Attacks

Built in a few months as a class project, this 1vs1 dueling game pits two players in a battle of steel, magic, and random items. The game takes inspiration from many 2d brawlers (Marshmallow Duel, Super Smash Bros., ect) and adds a fun little twist: you input your attacks by inputting gestures through the right analogue stick.
